AKKITC is owned and managed by a non-profitabale organization - Acharya Kund Kund Educational Foundation, Kund Kund Nagar.

Achievement : Out of the 27 years of service to the community over 13 years it had secured Cent per cent results.
Proposed Courses: Vocational Training Program for the students who has passed 8th standard and failed 10th standard is under the consideration of the RJD. Period of training 3 months of 120 hrs.

AKKITC is affilliated to the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), Government of India, New Delhi, through State Council for Technical Education & Vocational Training, Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Government of Tamil Nadu.
Captioned Industrial Training Center was commissioned in the year 1987 and had the privilege to celebrate the Silver Jubilee in year 2012. It is located at the 9th km on the Vandavasi - Polur state high way in the backward area of the Vandavasi Taluk to cater to needs of the under privileged and backward community in the area.
AKKITC is the one and only institution inTamil Nadu if not the nation which is collecting the lowest fees from the students taking into account the locality.
AKKITC has three trades viz., Motor Mechanic, Fitter and Electrician are currently functional. Industrial Training Department of Tamil Nadu Government especially the Regional Joint Director (RJD) keeps a very high esteem of the institution.
